"Tent City Hire" has been servicing patrons of Woodford Folk Festival since 1995.
Each year, patronage has increased and it appears the facility has now outgrown its current site. The festival organisers are currently looking at a number of options to provide a new location with all the conveniences that long term Tent City patrons have become accustomed to. Depending on which location is selected, a complimentary shuttle bus service from the festival village to the Tent City may be offered.
Patrons attending the festival and staying at "Tent City" need to pre-purchase festival tickets that INCLUDE CAMPING as well as booking with "Tent City Hire" for accommodation. Upon arrival, patrons must exchange their tickets for armbands before proceeding to "Tent City".
Patrons with vehicles can drive to our reception area and our staff will assist you with parking. For patrons without vehicles, a shuttle service will be made available. After being welcomed at the reception area, patrons will be escorted to their allocated tent - and just move in, and enjoy!
Accommodation packages
are available as single or twin share. Twin share is ideal, allowing plenty
of room for beds, luggage and easy movement within the tent. Families and
groups can be allocated tents together, but it is necessary to mention this
when booking.
Tent City Hire, due to unprecedented demand for tents at the Woodford Folk Festival, have sourced thirty-nine (39) only two room luxury cabin style tents. Each room is completely separated from the other by a sealed canvas room divider and zippered doorway.
The tent features a generous
awning and additional screened window openings. In addition each room is larger
than our already spacious twin or triple share tent living areas.
Minimum rates applicable for these 2 room luxury cabin style tents. The first 4 occupants are calculated on 4 adult occupancy, thereafter additional adults, youths or children will be added at normal rates.
All Tent City accommodation includes fold-up bed/s and mattress; you will need to bring your own bedding (sleeping bag or sheets, blankets & pillows, towels etc.). The tents are carpeted, screened and fitted with a 12-volt light.
Plenty of hot showers
and toilets are within the facilities' grounds, and exclusive to "Tent
City Hire" patrons. A hospitality marquee, with BBQ's, cold rooms, even
an iron and ironing board, offers complimentary tea and coffee 24 hours daily...
the congenial atmosphere of this great meeting place is often enhanced by
practising musicians and participating patrons!
