SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS
July 24, 2013 – July 28, 2013 (inclusive)
Please Note: Campgrounds will not be opened until Wednesday July 24 at 10am and all patrons are required to leave the site before 2pm on Monday July 29.
Patrons attending the festival and staying at "Tent City" need to pre-purchase festival tickets that INCLUDE CAMPING as well as booking with "Tent City Hire" for accommodation. Upon arrival, patrons must exchange their tickets for armbands before proceeding to "Tent City".
COUNTRY CLUB TICKET HOLDERS WILL HAVE THEIR TENT CITY ACCOMMODATION WITHIN THE CLUB CAMPING AREA. PLEASE NOTE THIS WHEN BOOKING ACCOMMODATION IF YOU ARE A COUNTRY CLUB TICKET HOLDER.
PLEASE CHECK SPLENDOUR WEB SITE REGARDING CONDITIONS FOR CAMPING. ALL CONDITIONS LISTED ARE RELEVANT TO TENT CITY PATRONS.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE ON YOUR BOOKING FORM THE NUMBER OF VEHICLES (IF ANY) YOU WILL BE BRINGING TO THE SITE.
Patrons with vehicles can drive to our reception area and our staff will assist you with parking in the Tent City car park area adjacent to the camping. After being welcomed at the reception area, patrons will be escorted to their allocated tent - and just move in, and enjoy!
Accommodation packages are available as single, twin share or triple. Twin share is ideal, allowing plenty of room for beds, luggage and easy movement within the tent. Families and groups can be allocated tents together, but it is necessary to mention this when booking. All Tent City accommodation includes bed/s and mattress; you will need to bring your own bedding (sleeping bag or sheets, blankets & pillows, towels etc.).
There will be an option this year to hire bed linen packages.
The tents are carpeted, screened and fitted with a 12-volt light. Tent City Hire will have on board Showtime Toilets and Showers to provide exclusive hot showers and toilets for our patrons.
A hospitality marquee, with BBQ's, cold rooms, even an iron and ironing board, offers complimentary tea and coffee 24 hours daily... the congenial atmosphere of this great meeting place is often enhanced by practicing musicians and participating patrons!
Regular patrons will attest to the convenience, warm, friendly atmosphere and cooperative staff that makes this facility a popular alternative - these patrons have become friends over the years, and we look forward to catching up with familiar faces and adding new ones to our ever-growing Tent City "family".
See you there!
Booking is essential to avoid disappointment. Tent numbers are limited
