XXXX Gold Roma Cup

The XXXX Gold Roma Cup on November 17th is the biggest and most exciting raceweekend in western Queensland.
Attracting around 10,000 punters from around the state, The Roma Cup has become legend in the bush.
The capital of the South West, Roma bursts at the seams for this weekend of country racing, with every pub in town turning on the entertainment for on Friday night to kick off a weekend of heavy social interaction.
The Roma Turf Club hosts its Calcutta and Cocktail evening on Friday night, no bookings required with drinks and fingerfood on arrival and a buffet dinner available.
Saturday is raceday at Bassett Park and gates open at 11am with marquees, luncheons, Fashions on the Field, TAB, eftpos, bar and food stalls. The after race party with live music continues on into the wee hours of Sunday morning and the Scouts will have bacon and eggs on the hot plate a few hours later to send you home.
Camping and tents are available inside the Bassett Park grounds and only a short stagger from the main gates to the Track.
