KNOCKOUT 2011
Spetember 29, 2011 - October 3, 2011 (inclusive)

"Tent City Hire" has been servicing events for over sixteen years and for the first year will be providing accommodation for the 2011 Annual NSW Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout being held at Bathurst.
Started in 1971, this year’s Knockout will be the 41st carnival undertaken and it is a major event for Aboriginal people across New South Wales.
The Knockout brings people and communities together to cheer for their teams and to celebrate, smile, laugh and catch up and connect with friends and family.
Tent City will be located at the corner of Alpha St and Russell St, Bathurst The site is approximately 500 metres from the town centre.
The Tent City hospitality marquee becomes a social area for patrons, and includes tables and chairs, cold rooms, refrigerator, help yourself complimentary tea and coffee, BBQs, microwave and toasters for those patron who wish to have a quick snack or have the munchies at the end of the day. There is even ironing facilities for those on the run! Patrons are welcome to store their own non alcoholic drinks in the cold room.
All patrons will be asked to wear the Tent City armband so that our staff, who are on site for the entire event, can easily identify patrons at any time. This is a security measure to prevent non-patrons from accessing the Tent City precinct.
Accommodation packages are available as single, twin or triple share. Twin and triple share is ideal, allowing plenty of room for beds, luggage and easy movement within the tent. Families and groups can be allocated tents together, but it is necessary to mention this when booking.
All Tent City accommodation includes fold-up bed/s and mattress; you will need to bring your own bedding (sleeping bag or sheets, blankets & pillows, towels etc.). The tents are carpeted, screened and fitted with a 12-volt light.
Plenty of hot showers and toilets are within the facilities' grounds, and exclusive to "Tent City Hire" patrons.
Regular patrons will attest to the convenience, warm, friendly atmosphere and cooperative staff that makes this facility a popular alternative - these patrons have become friends over the years, and we look forward to catching up with familiar faces and adding new ones to our ever-growing Tent City "family". See you there!
Booking is essential to avoid disappointment. Special rates apply for children 17 years and under who are accompanied by an adult.
